Topic Overview: Scrum-But & Scrum Alliance Q&A
Would you like to know more about Scrum and meet a whole bunch of people using Scrum, or do you have some burning Scrum questions? Well, we have a FUN way for you get some answers. We’re happy to announce the first ever meeting of the Phoenix Scrum User’s Group. So here’s your chance to get in on the ground floor of this new User’s Group (If you have absolutely no interest in Scrum or Agile software development, please skip to the opt-out information at the bottom) .
What’s amazing about this first meeting, is that we have Ken Schwaber speaking! Ken literally “wrote the book” on Scrum. (OK…he’s actually written 3 books on Scrum!). He will be doing a presentation titled “Scrum, But…”. This talk addresses a very common comment: “We use Scrum at our organization, BUT because of <some difficulty> we have had to modify Scrum for it to work for us.” Ken will be with us remotely, but LIVE, via video conference. After his presentation, he’ll be available for questions. So come join us, bring your Scrum questions, and get them answered by one of the originators of Scrum and a founder of the Scrum Alliance.
As if Ken is not enough….we’re also very fortunate to have Jim Cundiff in person. Jim is the Managing Director of the Scrum Alliance, and he’ll speak about the Scrum Alliance and all that it can do for us. He’ll talk about the recent changes, and he’ll answer questions regarding the Scrum Alliance.
